I just started with Roehl in August. National Van fleet. It starts at .32 a mile. Reefer and flatbed are a couple more cents a mile. They have a good VA program as well. I won't tell you it's been great but I'm learning plenty and getting there. 2 weeks solo so far. Daytime, during the week Fleet Manager is great. Nighttime and weekend FMs ain't worth a ####. Good luck.

No hazmat or TWIC required. I just have a CDL and a passport. Neither of my trainers have any endorsements either.

I just saw that Averitt has an insanely high safety score... but their drivers are terrible with logs hahaha...

Averitt is in the top 15% of safe companies... while most starter companies are in the bottom 25%. They cant be that bad if their scores are so good.

Werner is in the top half... so that says a lot. If people hate Werner... what does that say about companies that cant even do that good? HAHA.

Prime and Schneider also have good scores.

Pretty much, if a company is lower than Werner... dont even think about them. Go for all the good ones and keep Werner as a backup.

i started at 34cpm + some other little bs pay in 2006. it wasnt enough then. it surely is not enough now after 7+ more years of inflation.

You had better find out what that "inflation" word means and how it affects you. In a nutshell you are working or will be working for slave wages.
