I had noticed the difference from when I was a little riding in the truck with my dad, when he jumped on the CB and asked if the coops were open, usually 99% of the time someone came back and let him know.
Now when I asked if the coops are open here is the usual banter I get from other drivers.
1. "maybe if you ran legal bullwagon you wouldn't worry"
2. " its you bull haulers ruining this industry for everyone, and are the reason we have so many rules"
3. they say "no" but they are open (not just open and closing like they do but open, been open, and never closed)
4. "stop hauling heavy"
And so on and so forth.
So I noticed one night, I had my wife ask, wow 7 replies and all HONEST!!!
So I recorded her asking and use it when I need to.
"whats the coops doing?"
