I have never once sent a GOAL message. I don't even get bugged about it any more. When I back into something because I didn't go look, then they can harass me with childish expectations.

Regarding new stuff....haven't seen any in a while. That GOAL thing kinda takes the cake.

Coming soon to a company near you: The "Three Points of Contact" Macro. Electronic sensors in the grab-handles and steps will keep track of your safe entrance and exit from the cab. If you get three green lights on your dash, you send the macro. However, be certain not to send the TPC macro before the GOAL macro.

This would require the "Reorganization of Macros" macro, which must be sent immediately.

I think it is a cheap way to get the back of the trailer cleaned. Most of the time the tags are too dirty to read the number.... :)

Sorta like when you send your Loaded Call but they kick it back Not Arrived At Stop because you forgot to send the Arrived At Shipper macro lol and have to do the loaded call all over again.

Recently picked up a loaded trailer that had NO license plate At All. Sent messages, Crickets. So I need the miles and the money, remembered there's an old license plate on the shelf and slap it on and go lol. When I dropped trailer, took it off again. Ironically, I have never seen so much law enforcement except for that trip.

Whacky rules, today leaving the terminal was like the Spanish Inquisition.
    What is your driver code?
    Are you loaded or empty?
Do you have your Enforcer lock on?
    What is the seal number?
What is the license plate number?
Is the trailer up to date inspected?
Do you have your seat belt on?
    Do you have your CDL?
Do you have your medical card and is it up to date?
Is your permit book up to date?
    Are you mirrors adjusted?

Most of the trailer plates are 3 numbers, space and another number followed by 2 letters. The letters are always ##. Any questions?

It's bad enough when you pu a trailer at a customer, send in your loaded call or mt call, and get back the msg, verify, need the plate and vin#. All because a trailer was moved and not put into the system that it was moved to another location.
