I guess I ought to put together a parts list thread. We could all use our own sink nowadays more than ever with 'the situation' at hand. I use hand sanitizer but a real soap and water hand/face wash can't be beat. Also, we're forced to use porta johns now at so many shippers, if they offer us any facilities at all.

What do you use for source water? Just use like a half a bucket for waste water?

I have a submersible 12v pump dropped in a blue Aquatainer from Walmart. It fits under my left side bunk storage. The pump and faucet are RV parts but I got them in a kit for a Westfalia VW from one of the VW mail order places. For drain I just have a water hose running to the floor that drains to the ground. Someone would probably have a problem with that but it's hidden behind my bodywork and a helluva lot cleaner than what most guys are dumping on the ground.

The Aquatainer lasts me about a week on the road and I just refill one gallon at a time from truckstops if I stay out longer.

Michelin had a tube type radial in the 70’s,
Sidewalk blow outs were very common. I know I blew my share.

Long hood with a big motor, can reach everything when you tilt it up, so much easier to work on than other trucks we have had.

    Shower - or the crapper - or the sink - hot water - cable TV - fridge - freezer - microwave . . . .

    I can’t decide.

I'd say that it has to be the Wife. (If you can find a good one)

    Free massages
Cooks whatever I want and makes sandwiches, cereal, or oatmeal.
    Fetches sodas from the fridge
Laughs at my burps (and farts) and listens to me rant
Is content living in the truck full time until we buy a house so no rent payment
Talks on the phone most of the day so I can peacefully listen to the radio
Takes care of the clothes in the truck and folds up the laundry and gets shower bags ready with new outfits
Doesn't complain about everything anymore because she actually likes it now

You pretty much covered it. I personally never ran tube type radials, but i "think" some of the guys i hauled coal with did. I do know that when i repaired all of my own tube type tires, and pulled a new tube out of the bag, it was stamped " for use in radial " or something like that. You know more head room is nice in newer trucks, guess you can't install it unless your doing reconstructive body work. IH fleetstar comes to mind. Take a nice drink of water..hit a bump..bottle or head smacks ceiling. Or knees crunch the dash, of course thats leg room.

Yep, that and those little 2 speed fans that blew pretty well. Before A/C, that's all you had.
