So just because the dumb ### that was in front of you did it, why follow his example of stupidity? You should fuel, pay and go park your truck not in front of fuel island. You are just compounding the problem and are no better than he was.

You're obviously not understanding what I mean. If someone is parked IN FRONT of me at the fuel island for a half hour and when I finally decide to go piss and a get a Coke because I can't hold it in anymore and he leaves, it makes ME look like the bad guy. But I CAN'T go park my truck. I CAN'T MOVE THE ####### HAS ME BLOCKED. So I'm stuck at the fuel island. My only option would be to BACK OUT of the fuel island. I've done it a handful of times but I don't like doing it. And if someone is behind me, then I'm stuck right where I'm at.

The thread title is speaking of trucks that park in the fuel island. My point is someone may be parked IN THE FUEL ISLAND because of the ####### in front of them blocking them from moving. You may not have seen this truck because while that fuel island driver was inside taking care of business after waiting 20 minutes, HE appears to be the bad guy but YOU didn't know what happened and you would be putting your nose where it didn't belong. If you saw him leave the truck and there was no truck in front of him then yes, he's an arsehole. But if you drive up behind the truck, his truck is empty and there is nobody in front of him, YOU DON'T KNOW THE SITUATION. So stay out of his business.

My rule of thumb is you never leave your truck until you are pulled up to the finish line. Even then you only have 7 to 10 min to get out the way. Just the way I do it anyhow.

Just another selfish p.o.s. driver that parks at the fuel pumps not fueling and is justifying it with some lame excuse of "the guy in front of me made me do it"

Serious question: I wonder how many pump parkers look behind them and say (subconsciously of course) "why would I respect that slob behind me when I can see they don't have any respect for themselves" and then don't think twice about blocking them? Or is it the pump blocker the one with no respect for themselves that looks behind them and says (subconsciously of course) "I have no respect for myself so I don't respect anyone or anything"
