not nearly as exciting or romantic as many portray, will be mundane in a matter of months. Be prepared for frustration and loneliness if OTR is your game...lots of tools these days to make life out there better however.
G13Tomcat, mountaingote and 92A Thank this. -
Straight Stacks, Tonythetruckerdude, Diesel Dave and 5 others Thank this.

You ever see smokey and the bandit? My first year of trucking was absolutely nothing like that...
it was a lot of hard work coupled with a lot of fun going places I had never been before.
rad111, roadmap65, mountaingote and 1 other person Thank this. -

Then I was just a regular old super trucker for the following 11 years . . .Straight Stacks, scottlav46, G13Tomcat and 2 others Thank this. -
At first, it's an adventure.
Then, the novelty wears off and you realize it's a job.
But it's not "just a job"; it's a pretty #### cool job.Lepton1, WildTiger1990, bottomdumpin and 4 others Thank this.
