If these sandwiches give you the squirts, I'd bet it's the tomatoes. Store bought tomatoes, and the ones these places use, always upsets my stomach. I can't even eat pizza anymore because of the sauce. A friend grew his own tomatoes, and offered me some. No thanks and I told him why. He said, just try the home grown ones,,,guess what,,no problem. I truly think we're being poisoned by the health care community for more profits,,,

If I may, there is no telling how many thousands of truck drivers taking 500+ MG of Metformin a day! I was taking Metformin YEARS before I finally retired. DO NOT believe that (redacted) coming out that "the runs" will go away after using Metformin for a while! There are some foods that can trigger a bad case of the runs on Monday and won't do it 3 days later YEARS after you start taking it. For ANY of you that are taking Metformin and not already taking the timed release version see about switching over ASAP! When I did most of these kinds of side effects went away! That part about tomatoes is what triggered me. Years ago I had to be VERY careful about fruits. All of them gave me the runs from time to time. Yes, Virginia, a tomato is a fruit!
