94 in South Michigan was Fun for 20 miles with the wet snow and quickly falling temps .

Things started getting shiny, not to mention the only way I knew where I was on the road was by the road markers .

Didn’t slow Joe trucker blowing by me after I slowed to 35mph after watching 2 cars bite it.

The bobtail flying by me barely passed me as it spun and went in the median.

The van made it another mile before it jackknifed and almost made it into oncoming traffic.

    Crushed the tractor Real Good.

I crept another 5 miles down to the Pilot in Benton Harbor and grabbed a spot on the wall before the Mush Pile filed in 5 minutes behind me.

At least some drivers out there still have some common sense.

All too often the faster they drive, the longer it takes to reach their destination.
I can't even count the times I've been passed, only to see them in a crash shortly after.

Last winter 2 diferent drivers passed me with in 10 mins of each other... It was late at night on 80 in Wyoming, and a blizzard had set in from Big Springs, NE clear to SLC, Utah. Visibility was crap... About 30 or 40 mins after the second truck had passed me, I saw both of them in the ditch side by side... No point in getting in a hurry. When I pulled into the J in Rawlins, WY at 1:00 a.m. the place was packed to the gills. I lucked out and found a spot that a flatbedder was just pulling out of.

    That's just it.
I got no issue trucking in the weather. November to April, up here. When it's just the weather. But give me a handful of idiots + the weather.... *mic drop* I'm out, homie.

like you, and many others here on this site, we simply DO NOT ALLOW, others to drive our trucks.

i have been known to go SLOWER in snow/icy conditions, and have at times, a "train" behind me...lol

i honestly remember many years ago, of such an instance..i was on the NJTP, going south, on my way to Richmond...

i was in the right lane, snowing a mofo....i was doing a mere 30 mph.......and yup, i had a "road train" behind me...

someone going MUCH faster cried out on the cb, "move your butt (the other word though) *company name here*..

when one of the other truckers behind me shouted out...

"shut up dummy, he's doing a fine job, why do you think we are behind him".....

that's my M.O., for driving in bad weather, and when it got really bad, i'd find a place to park and ride out the storm.

hey, i survived 40 + years, i must be doing something right.
