Hey Mr... very nice talking to you sir... :biggrin_25519: We were both at our customers...

After loaded at 11:30 am I rushed to scale and had to slide that thing 3 times... and still, 34,140 lbs on the drives... but get a 400 lbs exemption for the APU... CA doesn't recognize that though... :biggrin_1square8: Will have to keep tanks almost empty when I cross their border...
Anyway, was on my merry way to the west when this happened...

Actually, both engine ligthts were on and the DEF light blinking... :biggrin_25510:

Anyway.. after talking to my company mechanic and dispatcher... I was about 60 miles away... was told to turn around and go back to company... So I did...
Dropped trailer in their yard and now I am here...

Folks in my company are sooo nice... They made reservation in the nearby hotel for me and left their SUV at my disposal so I am not on foot while truck is being repaired...

So far truck is inside the shop and I am here with some belongings...

As soon as I know from them what the problem is and how long it may take to get it fixed, I will decide if I will check in the hotel or not... Still hoping truck will be ready sometime tonight and I can hit the road...
I don't want to bother going into a hotel for only a few hrs... :biggrin_25512:

After so many years living in a truck, with no home... I got used to it... making my living space inside of vehicles many times...

:biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559: No sir.. that was another one...

This one gets "sick" every time it goes up and down steep hills for a day or two... :biggrin_2552: The orange engine light comes on and it stays on for a day or two but then it goes away...
I have tried the parked regeneration but it doesn't work... So... I suspected the DPF filters might be clogged up... But this time, according to my description of problems, guy at Freightliner said it might be DEF pump not working...
Just checked on the truck and was told they are still troubleshooting... :biggrin_1square1:

It's Friday.... Those overworked electrons are most likely tired and need to rest before they are shot for their trouble by a technician. :laughing6: :laughing8: :laughing5:

@Tall Mike Nice ride!!! Where do I sign up?! My clavicle has been separated from my sternum for 2 1/2 years. I baby it and it's been alright..sort of... I slipped while unloading today and think I separated it further. We'll see what the doc says in the a.m. Might be gettin' close to time to slam doors or something less strenuous!!

OMG sir! :biggrin_2554: If you don't mind me asking... how did your clavicle separate from your sternum? And do you feel pain?
That might have affected all the rest of your spine... right? Just curious...

4mer trucker and BigBob410 Thank this.
