Absolutely!!! Wasn't to bad today...but yeah!!! Got a warning for rollin'thru a stop sign hanging sideways on a fence! Guess the Port bears want in on the blitz!

 

I drove by there yesterday and today... but didn't stop... Have been rushing and rushing in California...


Delivered somewhere in south California yesterday, then pick up a load this morning near Sacramento and then rushed to Ontario, my company warehouse, dropped trailer very quickly and then rushed to Fontana to hook to a trailer that was repaired and brought it back to Ontario where I am now...
And arrived here with a few minutes left from my 11 and 14.... all the slow traffic and congestion...
I HATE the traffic around here...



Will pick up another load tomorrow early morning somewhere else in CA and bring it back here... and then go for another reload still in CA... and bring it back here again...

Yeah.. it has been hot around here...
After 2 days without a shower and sweating a lot... I couldn't stand myself... Parked at a rest area and found some nice faucets... Didn't think twice... put my old sports bra, spandex shorts, rubber sandals and took a refreshing "shower" under one of those faucets...


That's one advantage of being so little... I could fit right under that and get a "shower" from head to toe... and nobody even saw it...

 

Good for you Mr... Congrats on your "recovery" from those nasty pain killers.. they kill not only the pain but the person as well...
I have lots and lots of pain in my body and some "bad" damages but no pain killers for me... I rather get used to the pain.... so I can feel what is going on and work with it... If anything, I prefer to use natural medicine, and/or alternative ways to treat the pain...

Ok... Now the sad story... I am NOT a happy camper today...
Annual National Roadside Inspection has just started today and I happen to be in freakin CA...
So... Got a level I in Gilroy and they found one violation...
The brace that holds one of the air tanks wasn't tight enough and the tank was a little loose....


The one marked with a "X"....
That is something that can't be detected only by visual... One has to grab the tank and shake it...

Everything else passed... But that violation will give me 3 freakin points on the CSA score for the first year, then will drop to 2 on the second and 1 on the third and then it will drop...
Did I say I am NOT a happy camper today...?
I hadn't had ANY violation since 2011...
Now looks like I will have to add a few more things during my inspections... get under the truck and check the tanks to make sure all is secure...
I can't wait to leave California... But may stay here for a few more days...

 

Ohhhh... I am not far... I am at my company warehouse only a few mins from those truck stops... If I didn't have to leave here at 4:30 am I would bobtail there to meet you...

Going to be another rush rush tomorrow... thru this awful traffic...

I miss YOU as well, ma'am~! All the details are askew in the Garage thread, but basically was taking care of my mom for the last half year (and still driving) since her stroke; finally had to put her in a home; got to be too much on the fam. Was a tough decision..

I'm sorry about your dang DOT pop in Cali; was just telling the guys in the Garage about it; seems they are hotter in some states than others.
