Unloaded in the morning in UT then reloaded somewhere else in UT and now at a scale station in ID... looks like I am the only truck in this HUGE parking lot... there might be a few trucks later tonight...
Going to Tacoma, WA.... I must find a parking spot in the little rest area/DOT station nearby receiver... cause the street where they are is very narrow and not safe to park there overnight.... and no way I would park at that Love's.... :biggrin_25512:Shall see....

Friday night I was in a bar near home. @KillingTime I could’ve used your help. :)

There was this 20-something wannabe hard-### shooting pool with two other guys on the table near the music box.

I hear an Iron Maiden song I never heard before, so I went to see what it was. Junior pipes up and says “don’t you play any wuss music”.

I looked at him and said “wuss music?? Are you sure you wanna go there with me? I know some stuff from 30 years ago that would frighten the dead”.

    “Well, I do too”.

Okay, I said to myself. This boy wants to rock. Let’s rock. I let him go first.

He played two songs by Motorhead. I responded with two by Megadeth. He plays two from Metallica’s “Kill ‘em all” album, while I’m wondering if this is the best he can do. :biggrin_25523:

This one shut him up. :D

I will not be out-metaled in my own hangout.

    ####in' right on the Entombed.
Glad you pulled out something that wasn't 'The Big 5' (Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Maiden or Anthrax) to end that competition.

'To Ride, Shoot Straight & Speak The Truth' ('97) - one of my favorite Entombed albums... followed very closely by 'Morning Star'.

Clearly, a fan of that choice. And I hope you told him he needs to bring a sauce that's a bit stronger... cause the weak-sauce makes up 98% of the contemporary music market.

    Bonus video:

(The guys that don't know me, musical tastes particularly - I'll spin anything from Louie Armstrong to Zeppelin or Zappa, minus the genres of: Gospel, Opera, Hip-Hop, most Rap, and the top 100 radio (s)hits.... About everything else is fair game. But metal..... Metal is where it's at. Harder, faster, louder!!! *horns up*)

And, Mack - I meant to say - you know, just as well as I do, that he got those tunes off the radio.... I'm gonna guess his two Metallica 'Kill 'em All' tunes: Jump In The Fire & Seek and Destroy.... how far from wrong am I?
