Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Hey Mr @RedForeman .... Yeah.... they will give me a Walmart gift card.... But what is more important to me is the "good record"... and to know that the tractor and trailer are in good conditions compliant with DOT regulations... you know....
HOWEVER, I don't think the examiner was totally thorough.... it didn't take too long... AND... a couple days after that inspection, I had a trailer tire blow out..... What caused that? Maybe the very hot temp... maybe it wasn't properly inflated...? Maybe something on the road...?
It wasn't a recap... there was nothing on the road... It was very very hot... though... Not sure about the tire pressure because it was "supposed" to be properly inflated as it has the automatic air inflation system.... and we drivers, don't unscrew those hoses to check the air pressure on the tires.... the company doesn't want us "messing" with that and we just don't take the time to do it... But I wonder if there's a problem with that air inflation system.... even though it sounded full every time I hit it with my trustful hammer....
Now, that one of the air hoses is missing and it wasn't fixed, I shut off the air system valve as Mr. Maintenance told me and there's only one tire that I can check with a gauge... All the other ones on the trailer, I would have to unscrew the hoses to check... and Mr. Maintenance doesn't want us drivers to do that... so... I have no idea if the air pressure on those trailer tires are ok... Don't know how much air pressure there was on the tires on the passenger side when I shut off the valve... And now will have to wait till they send me to OKC to have their shop fix that as Mr. Maintenance told me.... which might be after I come back from my "hotel time" next week....
Well... if I have another trailer tire blow out.... so be it...

Take I-70 in UT and CO... maybe that will relieve your boredom for a while... Just "kidding"...

 

Yes sir! The sky has been gorgeous.. I have been driving at nights and enjoy looking at the sky.... specially in the places I go... far from big cities.... like that middle of nowhere in NV.....

I've never driven inside that truck stop at night... Always arrived there during day light and parked facing the exit.... or nearby... I was told there was a hotel next to it... and what looked like a saloon inside... or something else... looked kind "weird".... Hope they enlarge that parking lot and create great parking spots... wishful thinking maybe...? Shall see, huh?
In the meantime, may have to park on the ramps of I-5 if no other better choice....

 

Gotta take a break now... for some nice shower and some cooking in the truck... nothing at this Denny's restaurant appeases me...
