Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Talking about light traffic, there was very light traffic this morning from I-91 MA thru I-95 CT all the way to NJ... I even thought today was Sunday morning....

And the repair guy came back last Sunday afternoon with a "new" part to replace the broken one.... but I don't think that part was new at all.... And it was defective.... and was leaking air... I couldn't figure out where the air was coming from... until I paid him and he left....



Do you guys see the bubble...? First I thought it was the seal... but no.... the edges of that "new" part was missing a cover... and somehow the air was escaping from there....
See the difference between the "new" defective part the old one that broke off...


The old one has a metallic cover on that round edge but the "new" one doesn't....




And I was losing 50 psi in 45 mins when parked with trailer brake released....

 

Hey... I recognize that song.... that's some nice jazz... I like all kinds of jazz music...

 

Well.. I left that FJ in Hubbard, OH on Sunday night and drove to the receiver... got minimum traffic.... and some closure on I-91 but all went well... delivered the load in a school in CT and then stayed there till 23:00 when I left to my next shipper in MA... And this is where I delivered the load and parked for 14 hrs... pretty nice and quiet place...





No better time to go thru downtown Stamford at midnight...

Reloaded in MA at 3:30 am... went to scale and was too heavy on my tail... 25 miles back to shipper to rearrange the load and back to scale... all good then....
And then... went to a trailer and truck repair place in West Springfield MA to get that glad hand fixed RIGHT!
No more leaking now...


Oh yeah... and that repair guy on Sunday managed to break one of the bolts that holds the glad hand in place.... I didn't have a good feeling about that guy since the beginning....
Well... going to bed right after this and planning on driving at night again to escape the traffic on I-81, etc, etc... Gonna deliver in my "hotel time" town... and after that... I guess it's "hotel time" for a week.... or more than a week.... DSP is sending me to "hotel time" sooner than I asked... but I can't come back on the road earlier than at the end of the month.... Well... so be it... hopefully will be able to relax... I REALLY REALLY NEED IT...

Oh yeah... I forgot.... I am at this stinky truck stop on I-78 PA.... But got a good place...
