Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Went and got me all excited thinking you got your new ride and posted up a pic!!!

 

Maybe tomorrow not sure when I'm leaving.

 

That's Bob Spooner. Lives up the road from me. Pretty cool ol dude.

 

Newburgh Indiana, finishing up a 34, headed out first thing in the morning to load here in Newburgh going to Fort Dodge Iowa.

 

Left my personal vehicle at the mechanic last Monday, for him to make it pass the emissions test like he does every year so I could renew the registration that is due tomorrow...
But this time he couldn't... And instead of telling me right away that he couldn't... no... He said he kept trying this and that but to no avail...
Till I got REALLY impatient and called him this afternoon and he told me he didn't have the equipment necessary (exhaust and gas analyzer)... That kinda pssss me off.... I had told him I had only till tomorrow to pass the test and renew my registration cause I'm going back in the truck on Saturday.
Now... I got my vehicle back, he didn't charge anything... just wasted my time...
And I will have to take my vehicle to another repair place in November during my next "hometime"....
Hopefully the next place will be able to get it fixed so to pass the emissions and I will be able to renew the registration... the renewal will be 2 months behind though... But I really don't want to buy another vehicle... and don't have time to go look for another vehicle....
Good thing my friend was kind and generous enough to let me use her own vehicle the whole time... and she said she will be glad to help me again if I need so...

 

I watched a couple video interviews with him. Definitely a cool dude and a cool truck! Said he's been driving it since it were new. I was hoping to go by Mark Martin's shop one day and hopefully go next door and meet Mr. Spooner. He reminds me alot of my Grandpa and Dad.

 

What did you get?

 

He and my Dad and Uncle were running buddies. The 3 of em at the same table at the coffee shop was more than humorous. They don't make men like that any more
