Loaded and headed to Portland.

Only 8772lbs in the trailer. Fun going up hills. Sucks going through Yreka if the winds blowing. As you all know the wind is always blowing there. LOL

 

That's what you people say... for me... I have to bundle up to the point of not being able to move... and that's not practical or even endurable.... The extreme cold hurts my eyes, my ears, my nostrils, my skin. my skinny bones... even the freezing air hurts my lungs.... and under extreme cold, my hands and my face become kinda "lethargic".... I have difficulty moving my fingers, and my mouth.... I just wasn't born to live in cold places....
Now... put me in a 120F chamber and I do fine....

 

Sounds like what I saw along I-10 FL a month ago or so... due to the hurricane they had there.... many buildings, houses totally destroyed on the ground....

 

Talking about hurricane.... we are under tornado watch here in TN till 21:00... it has rained buckets.... in the middle of my drop and hook... Now I'm parked at my company's warehouse.. having a meal and will rush to bed soon... plan on leaving at 22:30 heading to KY for another drop and hook and then back to here...

 

Are you doing ok Mr. @G13Tomcat ..? Were your family and/or house affected by that hurricane..? I saw a lot of devastation... Nice to "see" you around here sir.... Plz, come back more often..

Hanging in Jean, Couldn't get TA to reserve a s spot for me in Vegas cause they no longer have after hours/weekend support for paid parking. And Barstow can not do reservations for other locations.

 

In Childress Texas parked at a high school about a block from the Church. I will be attending Sacrament so I hope I can get my bed head straightened out. I don't want to scare the locals.
I will then be heading to DFW to drop a trailer on Monday at Thermo King.

 

Well that’s something you don’t see everyday in a truck stop.

I wonder what the flatbedders think of the securement.

 

Started my "day" at 21:30 last night... drove to KY, did a drop and hook at shipper, then went back to TN and did another drop and hook... Had to seep 2 trailers with my little dust brush and pan in the dark cause warehouse folks did not... They will hear from upper management....





After TN, came back to same shipper in KY.... original pick up time is 6 am tomorrow but I am staging here till they have someone to load me... they are very busy right now...
And I will got to bed and try to sleep some... cause once I'm loaded, I will be out of here... Going to my company in OKC....
