I can envision Lease op/Owner Op in his future. Unfortunately most of the Lease op places that are any good (and I know about) require 2 years experience.
chopper103in, Rocks, otterinthewater and 1 other person Thank this. -
I don’t mind it. I tend to get 1000 mile runs to places I like to to go, and if I call him and say “I want to go to Seattle to have lunch with my in-laws” he gets me a run there.
I would need a lot to consider leaving.lovesthedrive, Rocks, MagnumaMoose and 1 other person Thank this. -
When I first joined here I was going to buy a truck immediately. I read and learned.
My new plan is to consider buying a truck in year three...after I’ve gained more experience.chopper103in, Feedman, lovesthedrive and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yeah... you are correct again Professor.... I meant to say "bad" not back...
No idea why I wrote that...
Guess I am losing my mind...
MagnumaMoose Thanks this. -
Been busy here.... did 2 pick ups in OK last Thursday and now I'm here.... in California.
Those of you who are familiar with California may well know where this is....
I'm taking a 34 again... will deliver on Monday and San Diego....MagnumaMoose Thanks this. -
And after empty in San Diego will head to near Los Angeles for a "cheap and heavy" load.... I mean, CH Rob load....

Every time I get empty in San Diego, they give me a cheap and heavy load picking up near LA... and I have to deal with that freakin traffic, and then go to nearby scale near Long Beach or surroundings...
and deal with more freakin traffic.....
After loaded will be going to IA....chopper103in and MagnumaMoose Thank this. -
Schneider will let you get one after 6 months of OTR. CR England will let you fleese to own when training is done, yet you have to prove thatt you have a business model to do so. As they expect you to be able to do 500 miles per day and have your head in the right mindset. At least that is what they told me when I talked to the finance officer. If I wasnt in training at the time he was willing to sign me up then and there as I had already done my homework. Complete with a back up planBlu_Ogre, chopper103in and Rocks Thank this.
