Where Are You Continues, Again.....

WOW... you guys have been busy around here, huh? Will catch up with y'all later and will post a few pictures.... gotta cook some rice now....

 

I swear you must be related to Uncle Ben as much rice as you eat.

You must not be from around here. We eat potatoes here.

 

I can't. You're always busy. Cooking rice..Trip planning. Pretripping. Driving. Loading. Sweeping. Unloading. Cooking more rice. Changing parking spots. Cooking. More rice probably. Writing love letters to the Peoplenet Corporation. Changing parking spots. ... Again. ...... Rinse and repeat.

 

But I don't eat Uncle Ben's rice.... I buy brown rice in bulk... and cook in my electric pot with water and salt and pepper... no microwave food here....

You keep me laughing sir.... Yeah... I'm busy... but when I drive... those loooooong hrs on the road... I like to talk on the phone so I don't fall asleep....

Parked in Liberal, KS yesterday... there was a major storm... very strong winds and thunder.... most of the town was in darkness.. no power on the streets, traffic lights not working... A lot of fog in the morning but it has been a beautiful sunny day today... all the way from NM to AZ....

 

And now I know what is going on with those 2 Stevens trucks.... they were going to swap trailers... The one in front of me dropped the trailer and then got a problem with the landing gear... waiting for repair... and the other one is stuck at the parking spot cause his power steering is not working and folks are trying to help him to move.... Driver told me that maintenance is a BIG problem in that company... Dispatchers "force" drivers to keep moving the loads and neglect the equipment....

 

One of the reasons folks hate to see them in the oil patch.
