Well I might finally be getting back on the road again. DC Air of Winter Harbor has expressed an interest in hiring me. Met the owner at the bank and he said he would hire me. Two weeks for them to file the paperwork. Looking forward to making regular money again.

Hit the road at 23:45 central time last night. Delivered in DE and then went to a shipper in VA... loaded and rushed to closest CAT scale.... was going to park at the truck stop right there... the parking lot is big BUT...

As I suspected when I saw the satellite images, ALL THE FREAKIN SPOTS ARE RESERVED AND PAID FOR... :angry1:
Seems to me that all the small truck stops in this area are the same... folks leave their vehicles there and bring the truck at night.... some leave their trucks during the day and empty spots have cones.... :angry2:
    PARKING IS GETTING RIDICULOUS NOWADAYS....

Ha! It actually shut him up for about 20 minutes. Then came an avalanche of words and emotions from him... LOL

Ya his idiot trainer was sitting in the passenger seat. He even had the audacity to not poop his pants, and to ask the trainee if he pulled the lines which he received an affirmative to.

I think one of the lines wasn’t secured correctly as we were bobtailing to grab our loaded trailer and it went under one of the drives.

He told me “go ahead and start yelling”, which confused me. I asked him if my yelling would fix the lines or help him to pay more attention. He said No. At which point I said then why would I yell? A mistake was made. I’ve made lots of them and yelling never fixed #### in my life.

...besides, using guilt will leave scars that will never heal... :D :D :D

They said IF they hire me, it would be straight trucks for now where I dont have anything on paper since 2008. That is fine. I just want to work again.
If they ever do send me OTR, the owner said they go as far as Texas. I told them I love freightliners. Yet I will drive what ever they want me to drive and do the best that I can for them

"I'm not mad. I'm just very, VERY disappointed in you. I thought you were smarter than that. I thought you were ready to accept greater responsibility.

I see now I was WRONG about your abilities. And THAT'S what makes me mad. At myself, for misjudging your aptitude so egregiously."
