Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Snug in a hidey hole near tomorrow's drop in Albany, NY.

I stopped at the Petro in Waterloo. I checked over the buffet, and the potato and rice selections looked good, but the meat (fried chicken, baked fish, beef liver) all looked like crap, so I was gonna go back out to the truck, get some food cooking.

A waitress who knows me by sight intercepted me before the door and says, "Hey, the Wednesday Steak Buffet starts in ten minutes. You could start with your salad while you wait."

Okaaaaaaay.....I caved. Tore up some beef, all right.

 

The diner just past the Petro going south is really good and has some truck parking. It's close enough to walk actually.

 

I know you've stumped for that diner before, Tall Mike, and I trust your recommendation.

I just haven't been able to drag my big fat fatness across the Petro parking lot to try it out. I really should, I won't want to make that walk in the summertime.

 

Outside Indianapolis parked for the night because the elog says I'm tired and unsafe to drive anymore today.....yeah right

Two more days on this dang thing and I'm done with it. They get their 72mph sled and elog back.

 

They have a limited amount of truck parking as long as the campers and garbage haulers dont jack up the lot.
That's asking a whole lot I know !

Flying J near Geneva, OH. Didn't have enough time to get all the way home, figure I'll drop anchor now, and scoot thru Columbus in the wee hours.

I had my rice, pork, and celery that I reheated in my lunchbox oven. Health benefits aside, I'm trying to SAVE MONEY by cooking in the truck!

 

Okc load “cancelled” going to play p&d driver around DFW for a couple days.

 

La Grange Ky fer the night. Kick this off in the AM and then back southward we go.
