Delivered at Thunderdome. Drop and hooked and headed for Phoenix.

The world is my oyster and I’m just a grain of sand...

Eating at Carl’s Jr. I really like a Superstar without the bun. Yew!!

Thank you. It was worse, and a reminder some folks need about making certain health choices. He actually was in his truck in Flagstaff, and had been suffering with cold/flu symptoms for several days. Apparently he started having trouble breathing and called 911 obviously too late. He didn't make it.

He was a hard working driver and was good at it. Also in his 40's and morbidly obese. Seems like he was trying to make some changes in diet and whatnot, just obvious it wasn't sufficient or soon enough. If you think you need to make some changes in your diet or health, you don't get to pick when you're gonna drop dead from not doing it.

Me? I'm 53 and this is the second driver I've personally met in the 8 yrs I've been doing this, who dropped dead of a heart attack. Instead of all the well wishes for the deceased, sometimes we need to look in the mirror and get serious today about not getting dead like him.

I’ve heard of the freshman 15lbs. I’m working on putting on the trucker 50. I stepped on the scale when I got home last and was convinced it was broke! Hahahahaha

I’m working on a plan to stick to my Keto diet. I think that winters is mostly over I can start exercising more again.

I’m gettinf Fat! It was kinda fun for a little bit...now...not so much.

No sheeet. My wife was cleaning my tractor and found a snickers bar in my bedside table. I tried to tell it was “emergency supplies” in case I got snowed in or the freeway shut down. She laughed in my face and said “ok skinny”, and then let our 10 year old son eat it. She didn’t believe me. Smart woman.

My wife knows better than to mess with my snickers bar.

Seriously though, my only Kryptonite is butter pecan ice cream in the single serving pint. Having to cut out most anything with high fructose corn syrup as an ingredient has been positive for my overall health not just avoiding gout flare ups. I'm 6-0 and leveled off at about 205 lb.

Fly fishing diet — only eat what you catch — you can drop pounds in a very short time.
