I've missed you, Ms. Rocks. I had to take some time off TTR due to Boat and Swamp..... I'm back now, tho! My Garage thread is pretty much Nil. I'm hanging out with Brad (bzinger) in his Morehouse thread, though I've never worked there, and I'm not in NE. And Mike and Dave in their respective threads. Just don't feel like i fit in anywhere, anymore...tbh. Glad all is still well with you, m'lady! My wife is doing great .. we run 'super solo' as we can... I'm the super of course, LoL.
Hope all is well by YOU~!!

Yes, Ms Rocks, I still have some stuff I'm checking out.

My company treats me really well, though. Pay could be a bit higher, but money isn't everything. They give me my assignment, then get outta my way.

HEY MR.!! Very nice to "see" you here sir.... and glad to know that you are still around, doing well, driving and your wife too.... :biggrin_25519: When you say that you guys run "super solo" do you mean you are driving separately?
Hey... You are very welcome to keep coming here.... this is a great thread for everybody... and Mr. @otterinthewater has been super communicative, fun and entertaining.... Many "older" members have been showing up too and enriching this thread more and more... :yes2557:
I don't visit the forum too much.... and the Where Are You thread is the only one that I visit constantly.... Being super busy, driving, and everything else that I do (ask Mr. @MagnumaMoose)... he made a big list of my daily tasks... :biggrin_2559:
Last month I was invited for my company Annual Safety Award banquet and this time I wasn't "Driver of the Year"... thankfully... that thing didn't give me "good luck"....:biggrin_25523: but I won most miles driven safely in 2018... 164 thousand miles....
Today I was in my company.... left around noon and pick up a load in OK.... super heavy load.... :biggrin_2552: Then, while at the dock, found out one of the trailer air bags was leaking pretty bad... And the closest place around was over one hr going the opposite way of receiver.... But... had to go to repair shop...
After they removed the air bag, they found out they don't have it in stock... :biggrin_1square1: And will have to order it for tomorrow morning...
Now I am at a truck stop nearby the shop, waiting till tomorrow for the repair
Hopefully all will be fixed and I will be good to go... to Kent, WA.

I can relate a lot with you in this regard...:biggrin_25519:
Today I was in my company and had a looooong conversation with Ms. Safety... They are going to replace
"my" truck in June or so.... They have been holding it for a very long time because they know that I like it and I am not happy with the new automatic transmission and all the freakin noises they say "prevent accidents" the new trucks have...
She said I was part of their conversation during their annual budget meeting with CEO cause they don't want to lose me and were trying to figure out what to do to keep me.... but they must replace the truck at the near future and have been trying different kinds of "safety systems" to find what works better with drivers...
I told her that I like the company a lot too... they are great people, they treat us very well... their safety record is pristine, I like the equipment and how they keep them in great repair condition. Tthe pay is not the best in this industry but it's MUCH better than many other places and I am making relatively good money... and there are many other positive things....
But in the future, if I can't deal with all the noises in the truck, I will have to leave. Even if I don't have another place to go right away... I just can't do something when there's no joy and only stress and annoyance... :biggrin_25513:

Dang. Whatever HAPPENED to that forum that those guys created? Dust in the wind, their forum, as well. Just dang. Sorry to hear. I know he was 'over the line' a lot back in the day, but I sure miss his wit and wisdom and banter (and stubbornness... which obviously was his forte') .. thanks for the info.

    Will light a candle Sunday.
