So I’m bored and I’ve been going through cheap ### led flash lights.

So I went and bought this... $60. It’s got a 30 day money back guarantee. It’s rechargeable because I’m sick of listening to batteries roll around in my trucks little office drawer. I hope it doesn’t suck.

I don’t know how good their rechargeable lights are,but “coast” makes a good quality light that’s easy on batteries. I have one that uses 1aa battery it was less than $20 and battery lasts over a year. Sold at Home Depot

HEY Mr. I left that truck stop in Laramie at 5 am central time.... I knew there would be some black ice and some fog from there to Cheyenne.... The electronic sign showed 45 mph speed. It was a slow and steady run all the way to near Cheyenne.... :biggrin_2552:
Saw only one or another truck on the road.... and passed by a parking area full with trucks.... Saw a small straight truck on its side on the median on the westbound....
Kept going... slowly but surely.... with an eye on my RPMs and another on my speed.... good thing I was kinda heavy... :biggrin_25519:
I can drive a standard transmission on patches of ice but an automatic.... :biggrin_2552: Not sure.... :biggrin_25512:

From Cheyenne to Denver, CO the road was all pretty good.... dry and no traffic jam.... :biggrin_25519:
The day was pretty beautiful and sunny today on the road.... Now I'm parked at a service plaza in KS... taking my 34... :D

Unfortunately that would all depend on how the company sets up the truck. If they allow you to use "Manual mode" and lock it in a gear you will do fine. If they are of the opinion the truck knows more than the driver and blocks that option you will be out of luck.

Flash lights... I have a collection.... Also tried the rechargeable ones... but after a while, their charge wouldn't last long and then they wouldn't take any charge at all.... or would "behave" out of control... :biggrin_1square1: So, I am back to buying batteries... but have to replace them constantly... they don't last very long.... :biggrin_25512:

The automatic trucks in my company have the manual option... And drivers use that when going down hill or driving on snow and things like that... Me... I may use that manual most of the time....
