Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Finally got the wagon loaded. What’s with all the traffic? Is it a holiday, and someone forgot to tell me?

 

Picked up a load so I could run by the house and take my 10 there on the way to Oregon.

Yup. Trailer has a clearance light out in the front. I’m at the TA in Ontario watching them scratch their heads on how to fix the light when they can’t find any wiring. Plus it’s a sealed loaded trailer so they can’t get inside it.

Dang. I wanted to go home and sleep in my bed with my wife and wake to coffee.

My trainee was so happy to get to sleep in our spare room at the beach.

Life sucks then a trailer light goes out.

Looks like I’m sleeping here at the TA.

Is the light that important?

 

Any light out means a violation... but getting a citation may depend on DOT officer who sees it....

Those spots facing the exit are the narrowest ones... that was how much space there was between the trucks...





Our mirrors were almost touching each other....



Not much room at all to get in and out of the truck.... Kept all my clearance lights on and left at 2 am central time.... Truck arrived while I was doing a pre trip and tried to back to a spot nearby... It was super dark, so I used my flashlight to help him out.
It was so tight between my truck and the truck to my left that I couldn't even walk between our trailers... and I am as skinny as a stick....



But I left some room between my truck and the one to my right so that they could get in and out....

 

Now I am at this FJ in MO.... taking a 34 reset....



Will leave Saturday evening.... I'm about 14 hrs away from receiver... will deliver in PA at one of the counties affected by the Lanternfly bug... Had to take a course online about that spread, stopped at my company yesterday at 4 am and got the Permit and the blank logs that I will need for the vehicle inspection every time I stop at one of the bug affected areas...
After delivery on Monday, will go to another bug affected area in PA and reload and take it to my company warehouse also in PA... and then, may go to yet another place in PA for another reload....

 

There's a Walmart 0.6 miles from here... dropped the trailer and went there for some very needed shopping. But later today will walk there and get some milk... and exercise some.... walking is good for the cardiovascular system....
