You probably are just like me, but they forgive for flowers — kind of.

    Forgive. Yes. Forget. No.

She’s still mad I went to Mexico surfing 12 years ago. I left a note saying I’d be down there for a few days. So what if it turned into a couple of weeks. The nerve of her to not forget.

    :D

Having problems with my router... losing signal all the time... may have to buy another at some Verizon store on the road...
And SOBs broke into my empty house in Rio.... spent 2 hrs on the phone with people in Brasil... will have to get a door fixed and other stuff done....:angry1:
And yah... the receiver in MD had such a small yard that one had to back from the street.... just as I thought...:biggrin_1square1:
And they were surprised that I could back with one try.... they kept asking me where I came from.... and how many yrs I have been driving... I am SOOO tired of those same questions.... :biggrin_2552:
And I have never been so close to US Capitol building as today...
And traffic inside the District of Columbia SUCKS!!! :angry8:
Leaving that place at 4 pm was a BIG PAIN IN THE REAR.... and it was RAINING....
And I decided to park at a rest area 1:30 hr EARLIER cause of the freakin INSANE trafic on I-95 all the way from MD...
And there was a super strong flash flood this evening and I found water is leaking inside trailer...:angry1:
And the shipper requests a paper grade trailer with no hole....:biggrin_1square1:
And I have only 10:30 hrs available from my 70 and gaining hrs on 5/12...
And the orange engine light has been on since yesterday code EE C 6 1 It must be emissions.... but boss said don't worry.... Yeah... I know, they are about to get rid of this truck... :biggrin_2557:
And shoots... I don't have time to post pictures.... Gotta go...

Yup going through District of Corruption is always bad. Tho I thought it was fun to see the police on their motorcycles riding the wrong way on the freeway. Or even all the people whom were using their phones correctly by pulling over.

Tho I dont have a drop there I take the 495 and avoid it as much as possible.

062, Rocks and Zoltan1a Thank this.

And I thought I was going to reset this weekend... but NOPE....:biggrin_25513:
Gotta fix that water leakage on the trailer....
I get so mad when I screw up.... :angry4: I knew this trailer was leaking from the roof.... since when I dropped it at my company's yard 2 or more weeks ago.... but forgot to write that up for shop to fix it.... so... dispatcher gave me the same trailer when I left.... only then, I remembered the problem.... but then it was too late... I had to go pick up a load....:biggrin_1square1:
Since then, I have been "lucky".... not much rain...

But now, just now that I have a load of paper.... the sky starts pouring on me.... :angry1:
This morning trailer wasn't wet any more and my boss and I decided it would be ok...
After loaded, I got some more rain on the road and found some wet on the floor and slightly wet at the bottom of some rolls of paper.... :angry2: took pictures for the boss.... But again, he and I thought it would be ok to run with it....
Now... this evening, after I left my fuel stop in Knoxville and came to another truck stop for my reset, I faced another MAJOR flash flood on the road and it kept pouring this evening.... :angry5:
I have not opened the door of the trailer... but will do it tomorrow.... I am afraid to see what all that water may have done to the load.... Will have to have that trailer fixed ASAP.... even though it may not rain again after Sunday evening and it may stay dry all the way to CA....
So... will have to disrupt my reset, GO BACK to Knoxville and hopefully TA or Petro will be able to seal that...:angry2:

All this crap could have been avoided had I remembered to tell the company about the leakage when I was at the company and would have pick another trailer.... :banghead:
