    I’m special. Obviously.

They also make me wear a helmet when I drive.

    “Have you seen my baseball?”

Thank you and tanks to Mr. @RedForeman .... for teaching me about those parts.
Yeah... I came to TA in Barstow... Got here at 00:15 this morning CA time.... parked behind a closed fuel bay till 5 am CA time when they called me to a bay...
Still at the shop.... Mechanic will replace 2 bearings, cause they have scratches, 2 braces, one seal and a set of brakes that he said was contaminated....
Here is one of the bearing...

I tend to avoid the question when men ask me to look at their junk. Grin

The outside of a bearing is called the "race". A brace is the bar that has rubber in the ends on the top of your drives to keep the rear axle from swaying when under power. Yup it is standard practice for any mechanic to replace both the bearing and the race, as well as installing a new seal.

Rocks, 062 and otterinthewater Thank this.

Delivered the load here... another dock that one had to back all the way from the street... but not as bad as the one I did in DC , MD...

    fhfgh.jpg

And the best of all... the load was fine... no water damage at all.... After that, went to a truck wash to find the water leakage on the trailer...

At truck wash, they broke my mirror... :angry1:
Here is me entering the truck wash with mirror in place. On the driver side...

    entering.jpg

Here... not easy to see but that's the moment the mirror flew away with water pressure...

    mirror flying.jpg
Then, guys went to the front of truck several times and looked at the floor and pick up stuff off the floor and walked away.... I was outside somewhere else and didn't see any of that... thanks to my dash cam, I can prove to my company what happened...

    guys.jpg
I only noticed the mirror was gone while backing at truck stop across the street... and went back to the truck wash looking for the mirror and guys said they didn't know nothing... :angry3: :angry1: :biggrin_25511:
But I found little pieces of broken mirror glass on the floor right where the hood was...

    jghj.jpg
They kept denying seeing any mirror... :angry7:

It was only after I saw all the videos that I got the proof.... This is me leaving the truck wash without the mirror.... sorry I misspelled leaving...

    Leaving .jpg
That's the mirror casing (is that the word?) without the mirror...
    dfgfsdg.jpg
So... I went back to the truck wash this evening, with my videos in hand and showed to them and to the manager.... shame on them.... manager said he would pay for the mirror but I had to bring the receipt from Freightliner... I will have a new mirror tomorrow but not going back to that place... Told them not to do that to anybody again... that's bad for the business.. they are brand new business around here and that's bad reputation they don't want... with social media and all...
I am parked right across from them....
