And then... got this other problem on my way to receiver...

 

Had to park and do a park reg... thankfully it took care of the problem... Baby (the truck) has been working too hard.... Next week he and I will take one week off.... we need that...

 

And last Sat. had to take a 51 mile detour... because some accident damaged a bridge and the road was shut down.... somewhere on US-285 TX.... looks like that is oil pipe line area....

 

Ohhh... there are other places... For instance... they can go to...

Farmer boys in Bloomington again.

Just delivered from Kent Wa to our yard.

Loading tonight to head back to Oregon. Preplan after that if for Longview. Maybe @Blu_Ogre can break himself away from his home 20 for a meal at Gee Cee’s.

 

Was in Granite City, WY last night... it was raining and the windshield got icy for a while... but no snow on the ground... only on Sierra Madre Range Mountains and vicinity.
Now parked at a weight station in IA.... quite empty and quiet here...

Called DOT in IA today to ask if the weight station allowed parking for a 10 hr rest break... the lady who answer the phone was in disbelief... I bet she was in an office.... she said, "OH, but you can't rest at a weight station..."
But then she put me on hold for a while and when she came back she read to me, "All weight stations in IA allow trucks to park for their 10 hr rest breaks."
I guess she can say she learned something today....

 

And I think my miles will decrease quite some in the near future...
Had an argument with my main DSP yesterday and my boss today moved me to the other dispatcher's board.... this other one is very nice and we get along pretty well but she is slow and doesn't do much broker loads.... her drivers run much much less than what I was doing.... Shall see....
