Woke up at my hometime hotel at 5 am east time this morning, got all ready to take trailer to Wabash trailer place to have that ABS checked... and guess what... when I turned engine on, the light worked...
Started truck 3 or 4 more times and every time the light worked fine...
Sooooo... no need to go to trailer place...Last edited: Jun 4, 2019

Then... drove my personal vehicle to car repair place so they would take a look at it but they are too busy and wouldn't be able to take me in till Thursday.... and that wouldn't work... Will have it done on my next "hometime" at the end of August...
Then, ran a bunch of errands, spent all day going here and there... fixed a couple of things in my vehicle by myself, got oil change and oil filter change.... may have new tires tomorrow... but not sure yet...
Then, more errands tomorrow... blah, blah, blah....
Bought 3 months worth of brown rice, organic granola in bulk, raw honey, this and that at the health food store...
Took a bunch of stuff off the truck and put them into the storage... cause next time I visit my company in June... or July, they may move me to a newer automatic truck... -
Oh yeah... and took my laptop to the repair shop but the problem it had before is not happening now... Good... I am busy on the computer, printing stuff and doing other stuff.....

I got dragged into the bay to get emptied after 21 hours of detention set in.
I promptly disconnected and went to go find some groceries and a car wash to spray the bugs off.
20 minutes into my journey work calls and said my load was rejected they need my trailer out of the bay
I wait around for another 5 hours. I repull it in the bay again to get retested and am promptly rejected again.
It was almost as bad as hitting on the old lady back in the day.
Sat for another 15 hours.
So after something like 40 hours of detention I am rolling and hauling the load 660 miles back home.
Best run I have had in a while with the miles and detention pay.MagnumaMoose, Feedman, lovesthedrive and 1 other person Thank this. -

This is my home out of the truck....
Same room from last time and the one before that... and before that..... The husband and wife who manages this hotel like me pretty much and are always able to give me this room when I am in town...
Last Sunday night I followed Mr. @homeskillet 's example and soaked in the bath tub with some Epson salt for over one hr.... Aahhhhhhh......tommymonza, MagnumaMoose and dwells40 Thank this. -
And every "hometime" is like moving out of the truck... carrying pots, cookware, folders, blender, cooler, bags of food, clothes, this and that and the other...
Then... bring a few more stuff from the storage to the hotel room so that I can do what I need to to and cook and everything...
Hometime is always tiresome... not having a home with everything already in it.... and someone in it to take care of everything...
But I don't see any point in buying (or renting) a place right now....Last edited: Jun 6, 2019
