Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Hey... now I am curious.... what is it?

 

Anyway... back at home... I mean... in the truck.... it does feel like coming back home when I come back to the truck....
Put everything back in place...


Drove to my company's warehouse in TN and did a drop and hook....
It was raining buckets again...


And now I'll have my dinner in the truck....

 

He’s in Phoenix for his refresher course.

 

I am sitting in a hotel room eating a fatty burger. Tomorrow I have to be at the training yard at 530am. I have noooo clue what to expect from this refreshers course. I am happy I have my own car and booked my own room. I go home on Friday and I have another week off before I go out with a trainer. The weather in Phoenix sucks.

 

That is awesome and you definitely need to go and spend time with him. Maybe it’s time to find a home and have something to take care of and build on. I find lots of hobbies just by working around the house.

 

Hey... I thought he was going in your truck tomorrow....

A refresher may be just like a CDL school.... you practice some backing and drive around the range and then go on the road with a trainer....
I though you were going to be in Mr. @otterinthewater 's truck tomorrow...

I have put off the idea of buying a home soooo many times.... for many reasons.... no idea where that would be.... with no family and no friends there's no real reference anywhere.... Florida might be a good place just because of the weather and no state tax.. and maybe somewhere near the beach... but there's much more than that when looking for a place.... Being on the road constantly, there's no time to go look for a place... and with no idea where that place might be, I prefer to keep on trucking.... Maybe when I retire, I might buy something to live in... not sure what that would be though.... time changes everything... needs change with times... as we grow older....

 

He decided I was too sexy and went with a place that has a terminal in Vegas so he can continue his work at chippendales as a male revue dancer. You may know him as Professor Maxwell Smart from the billboards around Nevada.

 

How about a Condo, how about a different type of trucking job? Once you live somewhere you will make friends and become part of a community. I think once you have a place to call home everything else will come to you. Find a community with parks and community centers. I think you just need to go for it and Florida certainly has many friendly communities.
