I think a REAL professional truck driver can do this job without any GPS or any app.... for this reason, I don't consider myself a real professional truck driver... :biggrin_25512:

Visited the corporate office today, they served us a very nice lunch and we got to meet everyone. We also did some yard work and spending a lot of time on the Pre Trip, theirs is very extensive. The Phoenix terminal is really nice and you can walk around and ask DMs questions. It’s nothing like what I have heard about trucking companies

I think talking about apps might scare my old flip phone. lol
Unless I am in my log truck, 90% of my trucking is down a 500 mile dead end road, actually 415, there is one turn off 85 miles north of town, but it would take a moron to get lost. It has happened though, an ambulance did it one night. lol
we seldom go out on the field anymore, but a gps may have helped a time or two when I used to run ouut there. I went to a new yard on the water once, for some reason they do not like to stack pipe and equipment on land, just close. Anyway it was blowing with near zero visibility, and when I found the place, they promptly chew me out for driving without a convoy in a phase 2 blow. Then told me they did not want the load there, I needed to take it to some island., I'm like you just chewed on me for 10 minutes for driving in this weather, now you think I am going to start looking for an island. lol
That one took a while, until the blow turned to a phase 3 and they had to get off the ice, and we had to all leave out in a convoy with a front end loader leading the way. lol
I don't know enough about a gps, But I possibly could have found that yard quicker with one, but those places don't really have addresses, so who knows.

I’ll cross that bridge when the time comes. If the trainer misbehaves they will be teaching 1st grade in August.
