Drop and hook in Fontana and then making a bee line for Denver. We’ve got a backhaul preplan lined up for tomorrow night.

I’m hanging out in Little Rock. It’s not all that hot,but man the humidity makes it feel like Miami.

Johnson’s corner for dinner and the night. Could’ve delivered but the backhaul wasn’t good so pulled up a few miles early to make sure I had parking.

Awesome lightning show and a good steady rain.

And @Blu_Ogre the high in my little beach hometown today was 67°. It is supposed to heat up a bunch to 70° by Tuesday. The horror.

Feedman, Rocks, Zoltan1a and 1 other person Thank this.

The advantage of that big heat sink of an ocean chilling the air as summer approaches. Helps keep it from freezing in the winter also.

At least I'm up a river canyon from the ocean so get a good coastal influence/moderation here.

Why people torture themselves inland with freeze in the winter, Broil in the summer is beyond my comprehension.

It averages 71° where I live. Our power bill is about $43 a month year round. If it gets hot you open a window. If it gets cold you close it. My wife drives about 3000 miles per year because you can walk or bike to just about everything. If she has to go south to San Diego or wherever there’s the train.

People always complain about the high cost of coastal real estate in California. Yes it’s insane in most areas, but the central coast isn’t that bad when you look at the real cost of living there...
