Had been driving nights again... even though it's not very healthy on my body to drive all nights... I enjoy the road so much more... with almost no traffic....
I thought there was something wrong with the ecm in this truck... how it computes the miles.... but that is ok... it matches my mileage notes....
This truck is governed at 65 on the pedal and 68 on cruise but I don't use cruise all the time and don't think I rushed at all but this is how many miles I ran on the last 2 days/ nights....
And I ran less then 11 hrs on each of those nights....Last edited: Jun 17, 2019
MagnumaMoose Thanks this. -
Wasn't sure if I was going to deliver today in Sumner, WA or not... the agreement with receiver was for tomorrow.... today would be ok but they said tomorrow would be better...
If I delivered today would have to keep using recycled hrs... Woke up at 2 am today and was going to hit the road but got a text from my DSP telling me to deliver tomorrow... so I went back to bed...
Going to leave at 3 am...
Now parked at Baker, OR.... BEAUTIFUL SUNNY WARM DAY HERE!dwells40 Thanks this. -

MagnumaMoose and Zoltan1a Thank this. -
It is hard for people to understand, unless they have spent a winter here, but I promise you, you will feel colder at times anywhere in the lower 48, including southern cal and florida than I will, where I live.
It is a lot warmer temp wise, but if I go down towards the coast I will freeze. lol
If all I am doing is running the log truck, The loggers I haul for do not work at any temp below 20 below.
I only have to stay out of the truck long enough to hook up the trailer and watch them set the first two or three logs on, the again when they are finished to tie down. Maybe 10 minutes at a time to chain and un chain. I have gone all winter at least once without even putting a coat on, just a jacket.Rocks Thanks this. -
