Yes sir... I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Have been lacto-vegetarian for most of my life and my diet and eating habits are very different from folks here... specially truckers... I REALLY miss the food from Brasil... not only what they cook but how they cook... their seasoning and everything else.... I identify more with the Indian and Mexican cuisine in America...

I am just an old meat and tater type of guy, when I hear salad I am thinking tater salad.
I will not say there is anything wrong with the groceries you eat, just different, besides they apparently work, I have never been to Brasil, but have seen pictures of them bikini clad brasilian ladies all my life, what ever they are doing, is working. lol

All veggies would taste MUCH better in America if they didn't put so much chemicals on the soil and didn't modify the seeds... Honestly, the veggies in America have almost no smell and no taste.... :biggrin_25513: compared to the ones in Brasil....
I eat everything that grows from the soil and cook my own food from scratch.
Food is one of the 2 things that I miss from that country. The other one is the climate. I used to miss their music as well but now I can listen to Radio Garden on the internet which plays radio stations from all over the world... :biggrin_25519:
