In Brasil, they have a very very popular salada de maionese...
It's mayonnaise with potato, eggs, carrots, some have beets, green beans, green onions, spices and herbs and some other veggies, all very well seasoned...

That tater salad looks a lot different from what I am used to. lol
I have tried some different salads with cold peas and such, wasn't too crazy about them.
I do like some egg salad once in a while.
I don't doubt what you say about the taste of your vegatables in Brazil. I grew up growing most of our own, and still grow some, they are much better than what a guy can buy in the stores.
We have a farmers market here where locals go and sell their home grown veggies, homemade jellies and honey, I get some pretty good stuff there too.
A couple of weeks ago i bought some honey from an old couple that has had bees for years, they had two different honeys, one from here local and some from hives he keeps north of the artic circle, different looking and tasting, I had to get both to compare. lolMartinFromBC and Rocks Thank this. -
I am not very familiar with tater salads in America as I don't eat out... did a search online and found those pictures... they look yummy....
Yeah... I have heard many times about produce grown by local farmers that taste much better than what we buy at supermarkets... I happen to buy all my food at Walmarts cause that's the best place for me to find parking when I do my shopping... generally at weee hrs between midnight and 7 am...Last edited: Jul 16, 2019

Noticed the trailer mud-flaps...
...but can't get them replaced till after delivery tomorrow.... and still have 8 or more hrs to run... So, I grabbed my wires and my plier and improvised...
I always carry lots of wires of all sizes and thicknesses and my pliers... They are very useful....Intothesunset, kwswan, MartinFromBC and 1 other person Thank this. -

Was going to post beautiful pictures of sunset here... but no time.... gotta rush to bed and nap for a couple hrs before I hit the road... Going to WA... I bet it will be overcast.. at the least... Y'all take care..

I keep a roll of baling wire in the truck, well I think it is called mechanics wire now, but didn't figure many van drivers did. lol
I actually carry a couple of extra flaps on the deck behind my sleeper, for emergencies.
There are lots of different recipes for tater salad, so even if you did eat out, you might really like it sometimes, and barely like it others. lol
I am afraid you would run from my diet, if it ain't fried, usually it ain't worth eating. lol
