Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Yes sir... as I approached that area... as always, it was drizzling.... but just a little....
Now it's cloudy...

 

Delivered this morning in Puyallup and now here I am...
I bet some of you do know where this is.... right?

Got this good spot and now it seems the whole truck stop is practically full... this early!

And this place is not cheap at all....


Paid for 24 hrs cause DSP couldn't find a reload yet.. and I had only 2 hrs left available to drive... Started my clock at 1:30 am...

 

It’s 93* and a touch humid here in Newton nc. Kind of miss the rain even though I couldn’t wait to get out of it yesterday.

 

BTW... my company reimburses for parking....
My company is small... there are 2 dispatchers... one is a guy and the other is a lady...
I was in the guy's board and he runs his drivers like they are "mad dogs".... I was making very good miles.... even got prizes for most miles driven safely in 2017 and 2018.... However, I got sick and tired of the BS.... I don't put up with that..
And so... after so much arguing and disagreements... I was moved to the lady's board... She is a sweetheart but many times she takes sooooo long to find a load.... She knows when I will deliver many days in advance.... but I almost always have to sit and wait until AFTER I deliver to get a reload....

 

It feels kinda hot and a little humid here too....

 

An older gentleman came to me today and said, "You are so slender.... I bet you will live up to 100 years..."
Yeah... right... I politely smiled and said... "Not sure... there's much more than just diet... But thank you for the nice words..."

 

Hey Mr. @MagnumaMoose ... where have you been, sir? Oh yeah... at the "Where is Everybody#5.." or something like that.... Stop by once in a while...

 

I hate when you call me " An older gentleman ".
It's not that I can deny that I'm older but that gentleman kinda stings.

 

And 5 minutes later she's regretting it already.
