This one is in Bliss, ID... I used to always find parking any time at night on a huge dirt lot across from the Philips 66 in Bliss... but yesterday they were closed for repair..... So... I went 0.1 mile down the same road and parked at the Stinker/Sinclair... which has a big big dirt lot... and not many trucks...
Took this picture in the morning.

Now parked at this truck stop in Cheyenne, WY... about 1 mile from receiver...

Looks like a nice day for cheyenne, at least the tops of the trees are just bent a little and not trying to touch the ground. lol
Rocks, 062 and MagnumaMoose Thank this. -
Wagon loaded, butt on couch feeding face. This is going to be a fun trip. Second stop is the hospital in Knoxville. I normally have it first at 4am. This time I’ll be doing good to get there by 9:30.

Generally the worst winds are between Laramie and Rock Springs... But yeah.. it was a very calm day... as the wind is concerned....
MagnumaMoose and 062 Thank this. -
After that delivery in Cheyenne, drove to Mills.... up north in WY... to a plant and pick up another load...
Then... after going thru excruciating rush hr evening traffic on I-25 north of Denver, I parked at a small fuel station on I-70 where I normally find a good spot on the first row... The rest of the dirt lot has SOOOO MANY HUGE holes that can damage the suspension and the truck if not careful...
Another beautiful sunset there Friday evening... in CO...
MagnumaMoose and 062 Thank this. -

And now I am parked at a FJ in TX.... same one I was a couple weekends ago... but in a different spot...
And the white truck lost one tire while making a sharp turn on the parking lot.... They already had one tire blown out on the road... said their dispatcher told them to keep on driving.... They were lucky the second tire blew out in the parking lot.... If you zoom in the image, you can see the trailer front axle dropped, touching the ground and one tire on the ground.... Another luck is that this FJ has a tire repair truck here...
Looks like today was those drivers' "lucky day".... it could have been much worse...
062 Thanks this. -
Y'all have a GLORIOUS Sunday! I am going to bed now... and may take a shower first... or do the dishes...
MagnumaMoose and 062 Thank this.
