Where Are You Continues, Again.....

But... but... this is not 321.... Do you mean 323? There's a FJ there... and that is a NO-NO place for me... This one is kinda close but not like that....
Yeah.. Petro is nice but I can't get a free shower there.... besides, I am going north and wanted to drive all my hrs... arrived here with 17 mins left from my 11....

And since I am here.... want to mention a wonderful thing that happened to me today... while I was driving, didn't notice I had only 7 mins left to drive till my 30 min break... No idea where to park, no truck stop or rest area nearby.... I kept looking the mins counting down and thought I would have to park on the shoulder for 30 mins... But "a voice" inside of me told me to skip the next exit and take the other next one... And so I did with no idea what I would find... And right there, at the end of the ramp, I saw a wonderful dirt area made for the construction folks who happened to be working on a street... There was no vehicle and nobody... just some materials on the ground ... and even a portable if I needed one...

The road to my left was closed.. so there was no traffic..





A perfect place for a break.... couldn't have gotten anything better than that.... Sometimes I feel like there are "angels" looking over me and guiding me...

 

I went to that FJ only once for fuel and took so long to move around inside that maze that I decided NEVER go back there... I guess that is a real nightmare at night.... and no good place to park...

 

You would be right. I've been in some really congested truck stops, the Loves at Tom's Brook Va comes to mind, but that place is the worst

 

Found this new Pilot on US-59 TX west of Houston last Monday... got the best spot.... it was there, "waiting" for me... Woke up at 2 am and went thru Houston with practically no traffic.... what a breeze...

 

So... you know where I am....

Gotta go hit the sac.... feeling pretty exhausted... Y'all take care...
