There are many kinds and sizes and colors of bananas here.... banana this, banana that, so on and so forth...
The bananas in the USA have a super strong skin... that need to be cut with a knife.... :biggrin_2554: Not here in Brasil....

I asked them about their color and they said this kind of orange is called "laranja da terra" (earth orange).... not a good translation though... but there are many other kinds of oranges in Brasil... there are also red oranges....

What time IS IT by you, now... anyway? 18:27 here now.... (6:27 p.m.) ... are you on military time (probably not?) or the regular standard?

I usually only get 6 hours a sleep at one time...and then a nap. Old age bites, haha~!

Yes.. more similar to Spanish... but also Italian.. and some words came from French....
Interestingly, it's much easier for Brazilians to understand Mexican Spanish than for Mexicans to understand Brazilian Portuguese.... :biggrin_1square1:

My wife can speak both Italian and Spanish. I've had to learn a bit so I can understand her when she's throwing a fit and doesn't want me to know why, haha! My kids took Spanish in school; my daughter also took French. Sheesh, no clue on that one. She (daughter) TRIED to teach her mom .... that was a no'go...hahaaha! The Spanish they teach in school is not totally the same, as what my wife learned growing up in Florida (Miami area.) Wife's dad born in Italy; taught her a bit here and there; mixed with her knowing Spanish, she can understand it better than speak it. The verb tenses get a bit mixed up, haha~!
