If you stay too long, wih all them groceries you like over there, you will have to come back to bet your bikini figure back. lol

Today I paid for a ride to a hospital in the near city about 2 hrs from here... on the way we passed a vehicle that had an accident last night... the driver and the passenger both died... and the folks in the vehicle where I was knew them....
Everything leads to the conclusion that alcohol was the cause of the accident...
The streets in Sobral.... the town I went are all narrow and lots of cars and motorcycles parked on both sides and congested traffic... and as one can see... no lines on the ground separating lanes... and the signalization is very poor.... That is not a big city though.... but it has been growing very quickly...
Not much parking.... always congested...

Went to a supermarket... "American style".... Food is MUCH cheaper compared to the USA.... but wages are much MUCH lower either....
Here is one kind of mango.... it costs almost R$4,00 per Kg.... BTW, one US dollar is a little more than R$4,00.
And here a few kinds of pumpkin.... very popular in this region...
And these papaya pictures.... specially for Mr. @MagnumaMoose ... Yes... we got papayas sir....
These are a little too green... but in a day or 2 they will be ripe.... the small ones are good... read to eat...
RedForeman, 7-UP, SL3406 and 3 others Thank this. -
MagnumaMoose, 062 and Rocks Thank this.

Not many trucks in that region... and they are not the biggest ones.... the roads over there are not in good shape either...
We were at a gas station.... almost no room for big trucks....
Some were parked on the shoulder on the side of the road...
There were no scales on our route but we did pass 2 tiny Highway patrol stations.... The first one was State police... that's what the blue sign says... "Policia Rodoviaria Estadual"... The second was "Policia Rodoviaria Federal".... they only check documents... sometimes...
7-UP, MagnumaMoose and dwells40 Thank this. -
Thanks Rocks !
