Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Good lock with selling the house, and the multitude of other things I am sure will need doing. Maybe trade the house for saome of thet beach front property I used to see pictures and brochures about all the time. lol

Is keeping the property not an option for you, Do you have plans to eventually return and stay in Brasil?
I don't know but I expect things to be more expensive and the lifestyles to be a little faster paced in Rio, than where you are at now. Maybe a little closer to what you are used to, but hopefully not too expensive. lol

If you are going to Rio, we'll be expecting pictures of them bikinis, I always heard about. lol

 

In downtown today.... another pick/up truck carrying folks who have no transportation...
They carry all sorts of things... even animals... put bags and luggage on top and sit in the back of the vehicle...



A guy in a scooter pulling a dolly with speakers advertising all sorts of things... it's a very common way to advertise stuff...


More animals on the street today... those were goats.. I think...


Went walking around here this afternoon.... it's a small place... nobody on the streets between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm... because of the hot sun... and businesses close for lunch and a nap afterwords....

I'm putting a layer of mud on to try to get cool. You just took a picture of me. What's the matter you didn't recognize me ? Thought I sounded taller on the phone ?

This happens every time I take my antlers off. * sigh *

 

Well, I am a sitting right here at home, I got in from Prudhoe last night, and should have gone back out this morning, but had some other stuff to do.

 

Enjoying a Saturday doing the run around town things between the rain storms up here. Got to see some sun while in the car.

Should cook up some lunch/supper food things before I start outside projects that will most likely cause the rain to start.

 

Yes.. the house is in front of the beach.... about 20 ft from the sand... this is a picture from the roof taken a few years ago....


The house is not in the City of Rio... it's in the north region of the state of Rio de Janeiro.... near the touristic city of Cabo Frio...





A house in front of the beach constantly needs maintenance... the salt corrodes everything.... and the bigger the house, more maintenance it needs....
I will be very glad if I can sell it for the price of the land....
No idea yet what I will be doing in the future.... or where I would live....
I am originally from Rio... yeah... life there is much more expensive than here and much faster pace... but not the fastest.... São Paulo is even more....
About the bikinis... if they are the ones I am thinking about... I am pretty sure this forum would censor them... But if I have time to go to the beach.. I will take pictures of the scenery...
