Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Thought about doing something to make some money while in Brasil... but this is more like a wishful thinking than anything... I have a full list of things to do before anything else...

 

One thing I have always thought about doing... jumping from the Pedra da Gavea mountain in Rio... with those hand gliders.... That can be a great thrill....

 

I have done some crazy stupid things in my life, but jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, bungee jumping AND jumping off a lmountain holding on to a kite has NEVER crossed my mind. DON"T DO IT. lol

 

I just got in from prudhoe, got to chain up coming and going, plus a sketchy wild ride off of atigun, even after chaining. lol

 

LOL.... Hey... it's not that bad.... Lots and lots of people do it everyday over there... there may be one accident sometime but it's rare... That has been a dream for me for all my life... I love to "fly"... If I ever do it... I think will choose that instructor.. he has excellent reputation...

 

I love to fly, in a bonefied aeroplane, the smaller the better, but it is at least have some kind of engine. lol
I used to live close to a cliff, that was called the best place in north America to hang glide and seen a lot of it and talked to people of all ages taking lessons. But I had enough sense to not even think of trying it myself. lol

 

You and my wife would have a blast.. me? Not so much... Yeah, nope, haha!! She's been parasailing on many a boat back while living in Florida; still does some hiking here in Ohio, at Mohican. Y'all 'little' people don't fall so hard..but at least I've got 'bounce' ... haha!

 

Dude, if you can drive Atigun, you can parasail... hang glide, et al. I drove AK a few times as a 'favor' for my boss that owned all those Petercar 'Hoods' ... good lawd. Longest week of my life. The plane ride home was cake. I delivered a 'hood to a buddy of his there (LOOOONNG trip from here) and didn't know they were gonna run me all week. Sheesh....... Y'all have fun. One of the few times I've chained, and BOY did I cinch those bad boys tight~!

 

Hey.... I better go take a shower... got soaked wet today while burning those papers... for one hr under the sun, about 130 degrees... dripping sweat on my eyes and all.... going to shower now and eat something...

 

Hey.. I bought my air ticket to Rio today.. wanted to travel on Friday but it was too late... got for coming Monday at 3:20 am.... So... this Sunday morning will visit a farm or someplace nearby... where they make the rapadura.... it's going to be fun... will have lots of pictures to post here...
