Where Are You Continues, Again.....

There will be over 350 attractions... it will be open from 2 pm till 4 am... many stages for different styles of music... shows every day....
On October 4 it will be the Heavy Metal weekend... with Sepultura, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Megadeth...

If I go I can already imagine... the location is far faaaaaaar away.. gotta find a hotel nearby and transportation... there will be millions of people... millions of vehicles... people will be mostly young... mostly drunk.... tickets are expensive... the best places are already taken... wont be able to see the artists close but on the big screens.... will get tired standing on my feet...
I start to feel "old" talking like that... but it's not like when I was 20 yrs old spending all night jumping on my feet, screaming like crazy and going "wild".... not worrying about nothing...

 

Rock in Rio music festival... it has been going on every year since.... the 80's....

 

Never mind, I see what the rock is now. Concerts is another thing that never interested me at all, I have been offered free tickets to many of them, and have never went to one. I did used to make every rodeo within driving range. llol

Tomcat, Atigun was in full bloom and beautiful this morning, everything was pure snow white that you could see and was for 20 miles north of it. we are getting our color back.

 

I kinda share your opinion... in a different way though...

 

I used to enjoy Rock concerts when I was much younger... nowadays it seems like they lost the "enchant".... I would rather watch the concerts on a big screen sitting comfortably in a room....
If I had a bunch of friends to go with... then, I might even consider.. but on my own...

 

Who’s bright idea was it to play truck driver all night last night? I’m blaming it on Duh Moose at least I have a week to recover

I empathize with you there, but MAN it sure looks awesome; an experience of a lifetime. Have you ever BEEN to it, in the past?!? Amazing bands...and you're SO close.... hmmmm...

 

Hey... I wish I had gone to Rock in Rio festivals from the 80's.... Lots and lots of very famous international bands from everywhere.... and Brazilian bands as well..... Back then, it was really wild... and it was pure Rock... all kinds of Rock.... Check this one out... Nina Hagen.... she was "far out..."



And Whitesnake... unfortunately the quality of image is awful...
