Went to Macae this morning.... 2 hrs north of here... Left a 4 am.... had a blood test done at 8 am... they filled up 32 samples of blood.... Had to prick my veins 4 times... one of the exams was supposed to be taken 3 times, 30 mins apart from each other... Had one other test done with saliva... All went well.... Was fasting since 23:00 last night... but left Macae at noon and had my lunch in my room at the hotel back in Cabo Frio at 15:30..
Going to the city of Rio tomorrow.... leaving early again....

 

At the bus station early this morning... that wasn't me...

 

I dunno bout that. From the expression on his face he might be in even worse shape than me.

 

Folks sleep at bus stations around here.... and others sleep on the sidewalk of the streets... I know it's not pretty... but it's everywhere.. and that doesn't show on post cards..

 

I have only ever been to innercity bus stations a couple of times in my life, from what I have seen in this country, they are not where a person would want to hang out. I rode a bus one time back when my folks had a car wreck, but was too young to remember. It was small town terminals though.
I have only been on one since Then, and it was small town terminals, but I didn't ride far before I got off and caught a ride either. lol

 

Hope you all are doing well.... resting some after a day's work, or getting ready to hit the road... or maybe taking time off somewhere.... I better get ready to go to bed... Didn't sleep much anything last night... only 3:30 hrs... and after all that blood taken off of me.... and all the fasting I had to go thru for the exams... I better get some rest. Will get up at 4 and keep going... It's going to be a busy day... walking and visiting places and doing business tomorrow in Rio... Catch up with you all later.. Take care...
