Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Had a little ice at the house and just about busted my butt taking my little buddy out this morning. The top step was just wet, but the other three were iced over

 

You're back! Thought you were not coming back here...
I've seen snow has been cruel in the USA.... even in TX...
I'm in the city of Cabo Frio in the state of Rio in Brasil, and it has been a little wet here... and always very humid...

 

Bus from Macae to Cabo Frio was less than $5.00 dollars... but it was almost full and no distancing at all... people don't do that around here... I wasn't willing to spend 3 and/or more hrs in a full bus like that...
Called a place and got a driver with a car that drove me for $33.50 dollars...
Did well... there were at least 25 miles of congestion on the road... and my driver, who is an experienced escort driver, did "miracles" to avoid that... drove most of the time on the shoulder and did a sudden "cinematographic" maneuver to avoid head on collision...
I arrived back in my hotel safe and sound and hrs earlier than I would had I taken a bus...

first full day of nice sunshine since when I arrived in Cabo Frio...
l had time to go to the nearest beach...
water was just spectacular... n no strong wind which is very rare...
awesome..
BTW... no COVID around here...
No Carnaval either...
Ah! And no snow either...

 

After last sunny Sunday at beach, this has been my routine here...


Can't wait for this holiday to be over n business resumes. I have a lot to do.

Yeah it’s kinda buried under everything. I have a exciting day planned. Already got groceries and just changed oil in the apu. Now go wash the pickup, then go do laundry

 

Exciting huh..? Well... if you say so... enjoy... definitely a different routine... for I remember you seemed to be "always" picking up and delivering loads...
I wish I were excited too... but all I did today was to deal with notes, calculations, phone call, emails... papers...
Needed to scan documents but today was still no-Carnaval holiday and places are closed around here.
Needed to talk to businesses in the USA but have to wait till they answer my emails... will not spend $10.00 for a couple of international phone calls...

After all day stuck at my desk n staring at my computer screen I decided to come to the snack bar downstairs for a natural fresh made smoothie of milk, banana n apple...
