Where Are You Continues, Again.....

Regional! Almost all companies have it! I started on a Western 11 state! Mom had a couple strokes, went to home daily!

 

Yes roughly six states. It has its advantages,I rarely consult a map,I’ve learned a lot of shortcuts and going to the same places you have a good idea of what to expect.

 

Yeah... only thing is that I want to continue living in a truck... want to save more money for at least a year or two...
BTW, how is your mom doing?

 

Yeah.. I see that as the only "advantage"... it becomes much easier to plan everything, considering the places are not too awful...

 

You have to remember that I’m not chasing miles.

 

She doing good! No issues in a few years! Old age is having its way with her though!

 

Hey someone has to chase them miles. Might as well be me I guess. lol

 

I know you are not... seems to me that you achieved a pretty good place in your career... result of decades of great work. Now you can "rejoice" in your accomplishments and take it easy any way you want.

 

I used to do that... not for the money though... but because of the way I have always been, I guess... Always go go go... don't like to leave for tomorrow what I can do right now... enjoyed a lot being on the road... always going to different places...
I even became "Driver of the Year in 2017" in my former company and "Most Miles Driven Safely" in 2018... Not that I tried to be anything.. just did what I enjoyed doing...
I made good money yes... But my health paid a lot for that "life style".... stress, lack of sleep, lack of exercise, no steady routine, not eating well or enough... now I am getting old and must take that in consideration... will not be able to do the same if I want to take care of myself...

 

She must be a very strong lady... And lucky to have you there with her. I don't know your mom, but sending hugs to her.
