This grain hauling sometimes makes no sense. I'm hauling corn both ways. Looks me like they would hook up with the closer source and I wouldn't be loading at 1:15 in the morning. It's pays is what matters I reckon.
Giggles the Original and tsavory Thank this. -
Hot Shot is sometimes like that. I once took 4 sheets of fiberglass roof panels from near Hobby Airport to near the border of Louisiana. I took a stack of sheetmetal roof panels from the same place to the Rio Grand Valley. You can't make me believe the place I get the stuff is the only place in Texas that has it.

True but I hauled corn from Arkansas to Mississippi went 50 miles loaded corn and came back to Arkansas 30 miles from where I picked up the first load. At least I'm trucking lol. I see what you mean on the roof panels though gotta be something closer

Back in the last century sometime, 3 of us went somewhere around Long Beach and loaded full of frozen burrito's all headed to the same warehouse in NJ. About a week later 2 of us went about 15 miles away from that warehouse in NJ and loaded frozen burrito's ( different brand though ) and took 'em to Long Beach. I delivered a load of individually wrapped chocolates ( an already wrapped box of 15 or so pieces to be sold that way, not single pieces, but each piece was wrapped ) to a place in south GA that tore the boxes apart and put the pieces into a 20 piece box and shipped 'em somewhere else. It makes it hard to believe that process is cost effective.
wore out and Giggles the Original Thank this. -
I thought I was the only one doing stuff makes no sense to me. Glad to see it's a nation wide deal fella's. Back in Batesville Ar unloading corn at Ozark Mountain Poultry. This place stinks. It's right beside Con Agra. Wish I was done for the week but no such luck. Gotta run one more maybe two
