All drop n hook huh? Well... keep your shoulder and arm greasy... I know someone who ended up having bursitis or something in her arm and shoulder from dealing with landing gears :biggrin_2552: And also, watch out for your back... those dropping n hooking can be hard on it after a while...

Give it a shot Ms. Rocks. If it doesn't work, well it's not like we don't need soap! Haha!

...it's looking more and more like stretching and keeping limber are the keys in this industry.

    Rocks and tsavory Thank this.

I didn't notice at first that itvwas Crystal who texted me "SDV to Manchester" and a pickup number. Arrived SDV 8:15. Waited 2 hours to be loaded with one 700# crate and 15 more minutes to get another 100# crate also going to Manchester.

Got into and out of Manchester in an hour. Could be a record.
Went and found shade to eat lunch. Got tired of where I was and headed up sorta near IAH

She called and asked how quickly I could get to Magnolia. I said 45 minutes maybe. She said the address and get going.

Got to the pickup at 3pm. 700# pallet. Loaded 3:15. Got to SDV 4:30. Got sent one more.
Murphy to Air France 749# crate. Hustled over to get that.
She had sent after this one go home and have a great night.
Almost nothing great ever happens anymore.
    Got home 6:40.

I'm on days off at the moment. Things have been progressively getting slower around the oil patch lately. Still making an income but it's starting to fall out of line with the cost of living here. I'm on a good thing at the job I have so I'm just going to tighten my belt and hang in there for as long as I can and hope things improve this year sometime.
On the positive side of things....spring is trying to get a hold here, getting some nice days and still some not so nice but overall I think we have seen the last of the real winter weather.
