Dave man... I don't know what motivates you... you run like a Roadrunner day after day after day... I wonder how it would be if you WERE motivated... :biggrin_2554:

I was at a nice and VERY quiet rest area on US-6 UT yesterday....

with no internet signal... :biggrin_25512: and went to bed earlier... :yes2557::biggrin_25518:

Delivered this morning in SLC... then rushed to next shipper.... it was going to be a long haul from UT to NJ... :yes2557: but on my way to shipper, broker called and very distressed told me shipper had just told her the product wouldn't be ready till next Monday... :biggrin_25510: She apologized 100 times... :biggrin_2557:
I parked at FJ on I-15 and DSP sent me another load... had to go back to SLC for p/up and then up again on I-15 for delivery... they pay a good flat rate for local loads though... :biggrin_25519:

    Was unloaded right here...

Now I'm back at FJ.... will p/up 7 miles from here and will go to TN... :biggrin_25519:

I'm here! Just haven't been posting much since I received an administrative stand-down period, and have been chillin' at the home 20 for awhile. Took the grandson to Benihana's (an oriental hibachi restaurant) the other night. He had a blast! Headin' out in the AM, at least that's the plan.

Iffin I was truly motivated Rocks I probably wouldn't wait here and there for the quarter hour to come up for log book purposes.

I just am not a happy morning person. Never in my memory have I been and it ain't likely to change.

    Rocks Thanks this.

I had myself a 9 delivery ticket day. Along with the three pieces (2 of which were Hazmat) I also got two other crates. Spent a fair amount of time at Air France because for a while nobody was doing Hazmat. Then I had a few picks on Brittmore.
But before that i was told to get two 1# box at SDV and take them to DHL Global.
While on the way to Brittmore I stopped at Texas Knifemaker Supplies for a few things.
At the first pick on Brittmore it was like a Chinese Fire Drill. Nobody knew anything and the pickup number and weight were no help. Finally found the box.
Second pick was two cartons on a pallet. Then while I knew about a pickup at Secure Global Logistics I was told to get six pieces 360# at FMC. It turned out to be 1 carton at 60#. Which fit MUCH better than 6 would have. Then the pick at Secure Global was a 2# carton. Took all to SDV. Got empty at 4pm. Got loaded with two crates at 4:30.
There was a Murphy hanging on me but got in and out of Air France in fine fashion.
Murphy was two crates on of which took up most of my bed forcing the second to be stacked on top. From the top of the upper crate to the ground was a hair over 10 feet.
Took that to Air France and it was two AWB on one ticket as those cheap people often do.
I have to put a heater hose on my truck tomorrow. It loses water which makes it get hotter and lose more water. I put nearly 3 gallons in before leaving Air France.
Got home nearly 8. Dinner. TV. And now bedtime.

Hey Dave... I am not a morning person either... :biggrin_25512: never been... not at all... When I wake up, all I do is have my breakfast (in the truck), wash my face, brush my teeth and start my shift... Have all my windows cleaned and under the hood inspection done the night before so I don't have to mess with that...
And I don't like to talk to anybody in the morning... at least for the first hr or so... I am more silent in the morning than any other time of the day...
