Where Are You Continues, Again.....

After delivery this morning north of Nashville, TN, rushed to next shipper but p/up is scheduled for tomorrow morning and they can't ship early...
Since shipper is just a couple blocks from my co. warehouse and a Pilot, I went to Pilot first...



Cranky says this Pilot is in the top 10 worst Pilots in the country... but like someone else wrote here... I think it was RedForeman, I parked at this nice spot, right in front of the exit, next to restroom and all... Took a shower, Transflo paperwork to co., bought my ice, had french fries at McDonald's...

But then, I decided to come to co. warehouse for the night...



Although there's no restroom here and I may need one early in the morning, I feel more comfortable here.... It's very quiet, safe and I don't have to worry about someone scratching my paint at night...

After pick up tomorrow will head to OK and will stop at co. terminal for tire replacement and possible PM before delivery.

 

Taking your break? Hey, it must be cold there... well, it was in NE... I don't mind not going up there for a looong time... But I know this is wishful thinking...

Yea harvest is running me till my tongue is hanging out. Thank goodness I am hooked to my cow wagon so I can get a little sleep. Left Amarillo this mornin loading in Shreveport tonite headed to the levee them back home to put my hopper on. Y'all keep your brakes cool we gone buh bye

 

the trouble with all those pretty CA beaches is the water is only 62

On my way to Texas with 7 drops..

I gave them the newer truck with all that new breed emissions crap on it back and moved into an older 660 with a 600 Cummins and 18 speed..

The mechanic was pissed because he used it for local work and shuttling trailers....He doesn't need a 600 with an 18 speed for local work...


I make my living in the hammer lane he goes home every night..

Sorry Rocks. But it wasn't a very productive day.
Just prior to 7am he texted a pickup in Conroe. It was 3 drill bits at NOV Downhole to SDV at 401#. Sent empty 10am and included a "Can I come to the office" message.
At 10:15 I said **** it and went towards the office. When I was almost there he sent come to the office sorry. So I get a somewhat less than stellar check. But PL$R cashed it. And I sat still from approximately 11am to 2:15 when I got sent for a round trip Sumner to Houston Heat Treat. And that was the day.

Arrived home after two traffic snafus on usually fine 59 at 7:10.

And pretty darn shortly I will be going to bed.

 

Ooohhhh..... YEAH!.... Love it! Very beautiful... Yes... I miss the sea and the beach... and the warm sand...

 

Kickin back for a minute at the Loves in Horse Cave Ky. Gonna see if I can burn up the slow lane in the AM. 65 south better watch out. Y'all have a good un. Check ya later

 

Yes... the water is cold there... I prefer the water in FL beaches... And I totally rejoice in the warm waters south of the Equator...
