Upped the ticket count by one from yesterday.
Was sitting outside SDV. I texted at about 9:10 that I had been sitting there since 8:15 and how about a couple drums going to Shiner or something like that.
At 10:13 I get pickup two pallets at N2It and deliver to Excell Battery.
Then pick up at Pentagon Freight on Richey 4'x4'x2' 770#.
Of course since SDV put it in motion the number was wrong and the two names I was supposed to talk to about it didn't know diddly.
After one hour I was loaded and went to SDV. There were far too many trucks to get unloaded quickly so I got a very small 1# box going to Air Canada.
Went back to SDV and got unloaded in 15 minutes. Picked up two crates 571# for Air France. Was composing the empty message when he called and said go home after this run.
Stopped at Best Buy to check out cameras. All the newest Canon models feel like tiny toys in my large paws. My buddy says Canon 1D MKII should be cheap enough.
I am think 30D or 40D myself.
Putting away $20 here and $20 there towards a DSLR purchase.
Either Houston Camera Co-op or Houston Camera Exchange like where I got my autofocus EOS 650 back when. Which still works flawlessly just like my old AE-1.
But film is so passed.....
Got home 6:15 Had Spaghetti watched some T.V. and fixing to go to bed.

Shipper this morning was very fast... less than 30 mins to load... Drove over 10 hrs today and parked at a Valero on I-40 OK. There's a casino at this exit and a Love's on the other side of the road. I chose here cause it seems quiet, more parking available and closer to the ramp. Will be at co. terminal tomorrow for tire replacement and possible PM and then will rush to a small truck stop on my way to receiver. Will deliver on Thursday...

The whole energized thing is cool! I generally feel pretty peppy ridin around. Of course I ride with the windows down a good bit, fresh air and all. I'm in SC now so I shall see how red the moon gets in the AM. I will definitely be up and stirring before the sun gets up. That's the best part of the day! Check ya later!
Rocks Thanks this. -
I started driving at 6 am central time... was going west and that dark orange moon really caught my attention... the moon was "right in front" of me the whole time...

Now I am in the break room in my co. terminal.... Would like to take a nap on the little couch here but with drivers here chatting and joking.... not possible...
Took a nice hot shower in the mechanics' bathroom... as soon as they are done with truck PM will head to receiver and park at a small truck stop... Will deliver tomorrow morning... -
Too cloudy to see the moon this morning, but she accompanied me all night. Carlisle 1 down, to 2 go.
