I thank my lucky stars that I never have need of 4wd. Oh goody. It's Friday.
I'd almost bet ya for a beer I get to pick up and deliver Lobsters today.
If it weren't for those 3 drums of Mineral Spirits there wouldn't have been much money made yesterday.
But again the grass don't look any greener on the other side of the road, I don't want to bail out unless there is a good reason to do so.

    chopper103in and Vilhiem Thank this.

Oh brother. I came to DHL Global Forwarding with 10 digits. But I need 11. Dispatch is being hard headed about it. But I wait.
If I should ever get my own authority I'm going to be Dave's Hurry Up and Wait trucking.

    Vilhiem Thanks this.

That turned out to be 8 cartons of Radioactive transport index 50. I may glow in the dark.
    #2 was freaking Lobsters again.
#3 was get two bags of ? Parts going to Phillips 66 in Old Ocean, TX. And after delivering the Lobsters the traffic was terrible. Got to 66 at 4:30.
Got brake pads and oil filter on the way home.
Hopefully the truck will last or kill me.

    Vilhiem Thanks this.

Finally fixed the bed issue I originally had. So the good new is no more back pain.

Unfortunately I now seem to have another issue. ...I don't wanna get up!

Mornings where you're so comfortable and don't want to move, but you know you should, suck.

I've still got 300 miles to go and I'm the only one that'll cover them...

I got right at 5 gallons of thin goop out of my trucks oil pan! 3 gallons of 40w and so far no zero oil pressure gauge. Got the pads on and no more ear splitting screech as I stop.
It also hasn't spun over slow like it has fuel in the cylinder! Maybe it will live on a while longer.

    chopper103in and Vilhiem Thank this.

Oh man. I barely got going this morning and a tire started vibrating. The Michelin I was bragging about grew a separation. I wasn't even done changing it when he sent pick up 255# hazmat at Santini Export Packing and take it to Manchester. 10am cut off he says.
Got to Santini 9:00 got to Manchester 9:45.
    Left Manchester empty 10:45.
Went to the office and got a so so check.
Ate lunch while there. Went and cashed check.
    Then to Southwest Airlines for

    Wait for it

Lobsters. Got to Palm Restaurant in 30 minutes.
On the way there I heard a bang and saw stuff in the mirror. I thought oh heck there went the left front. Started slowing down but nothing felt wrong. At Palm I looked over the tires. Saw nothing wrong. When I got up in the bed to get the boxes I couldn't reach I saw that the tire I took off had popped. Messed up the lid on one box! Hid it under a few other boxes and got out of there. My GPS blew it getting to my next stop.
Forum Energy on Guhn Rd. But the way 290 is all goofed up I guess I can't blame it.
Picked up a 500# pallet there for SDV.
Then to DB Shenker by the airport for what turned out to be a crate and two cartons that were delivered there by mistake. Also for SDV.
Then to Gaffney Kroese on a piece of Vickery Rd. That isn't connected directly to the part SDV is on. 5 cartons 196# also for SDV.
Got to SDV at 4:15. Took forever to get the paperwork all figured out. Left SDV 5:10.
Did paperwork and logbook. Left for home 5:30.
    Got here just before 6:30.
    Tacos and Tostadas.

    Watching Let's make a deal.
